As the 10-day visit of our Italian exchange students drew to a close, our Union-Endicott (U-E) community came together to host a traditional Thanksgiving farewell dinner in their honor. The event featured classic dishes such as turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, biscuits, cornbread, and stuffing, as well as an array of desserts, including pumpkin treats, donuts, and cider.
During the evening, U-E High School students presented their Italian counterparts with custom t-shirts to commemorate the visit, symbolizing the lasting friendships formed during their stay. The night was filled with laughter and camaraderie, highlighting the cultural exchange's success.
We extend our gratitude to the Italian Booster Club for organizing this memorable occasion, which not only celebrated the conclusion of the exchange program but also reinforced the bonds between our communities.
