UEHS students enjoyed a unique musical experience when rock and pop violinist Andrea Di Cesare visited the school. As part of his tour through the Binghamton University Romance Language Department, Di Cesare, a prominent figure in the Italian music scene, shared insights into his career shift from classical to rock and pop. With translation help from Associate Professor Dana Stewart, he explained how he creates layered sounds that distinguish his style, playing several pieces to demonstrate different techniques.
Following the performance, Di Cesare took time to sign autographs and pose for photos with students, giving them a memorable encounter with an artist featured on over 20 platinum and gold records. Di Cesare, who has been visiting the university since 2013, will also perform at First Friday events, as well as in Owego and on campus, adding more opportunities for the community to enjoy his dynamic music.
